Auris Tech Appoints GoHenry Founder Louise Hill as Chair of the Board

Auris Tech is proud to announce the appointment of Louise Hill, Founder of GoHenry, as Chair of the Board, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey.

At a time when UK literacy levels are under intense scrutiny and schools face mounting curriculum pressures, this appointment signals Auris Tech’s continued commitment to driving meaningful, systemic change in education. Louise will take on the role alongside her existing position at GoHenry.

A Powerful Alignment of Purpose

A leading voice in children’s financial literacy, Louise Hill has spent the past five years campaigning for financial education to be embedded within the national curriculum. Her advocacy has helped elevate financial literacy as a national priority, with her work recognised in England’s most recent curriculum review.

Her appointment comes as Auris Tech enters a new phase of accelerated growth, following the rapid adoption of Fonetti, the company’s read-aloud platform powered by patented automatic speech recognition (ASR) technology, and the continued expansion of the National Read-Aloud Challenge across the UK.

Kim Antoniou, Founder of Auris Tech, said:

“Louise’s passion for financial literacy and our passion for reading literacy make this a natural partnership. You have two driven, relentless women on a mission to give every child the skills they need for life — and that is a very exciting place to be.

This appointment feels like a real ‘grown-up’ moment for Auris Tech. We are firmly in our growth stage, with so much planned for 2026, and we could not be more delighted to have Louise leading our board as we take the next big steps in our journey.”

Supporting the Next Stage of Growth

Louise brings extensive experience in scaling purpose-driven technology businesses, building trusted consumer brands, and collaborating with policymakers to influence systemic change. As Chair, she will support Auris Tech’s strategic growth, governance, and long-term mission to improve literacy outcomes for children through innovative technology.

Louise Hill said:

“Reading literacy and financial literacy are both foundational life skills. Without them, children are locked out of opportunity. Auris Tech is tackling one of the most important challenges in education with clarity, evidence and heart, and I’m thrilled to support Kim and the team at such a pivotal stage of their growth.”

Impact at Scale

Auris Tech’s portfolio includes Fonetti and the National Read-Aloud Challenge which is an annual free initiative founded by Auris Tech to keep children reading throughout the summer months and combat reading regression.

The Challenge has already supported more than 25,000 children, delivered over 411,000 reading sessions, and generated over 3 million reading minutes across the UK, providing schools and families with accessible, evidence-led support during the most critical literacy gap period of the year.

With ambitious plans for 2026 and beyond, the appointment of Louise Hill represents a powerful alignment of vision, values, and leadership at a defining moment for the company.

Auris Tech remains committed to its mission: ensuring every child has access to the foundational literacy skills they need to thrive in life.
