Auris has successfully completed the UCL Educate Programme and has been awarded the Evidence Aware EdWARD!
Educate is a research accelerator programme for EdTech companies, based at the UCL Institute of Education. It operates on the idea that the EdTech industry has to be based on excellent business practice and academic research.
Last Friday, Educate hosted a Demo Day where 8 EdTech companies pitching to a panel of investors, and over 40 companies (including us!) picked up an EdWARD after completing the Educate programme and successfully applying real research in their ventures.
Through this programme, we are now better able to gather data on product developments, customer experiences, and the performance of our automatic speech recognition (ASR) engine. Our experience with Educate has been better than we could have imagined, and we're looking forward to making evidence-based improvements to our app Fonetti and its ASR technology!
Congratulations to everyone completing the programme and thank you to Educate for such a smashing day!
Fonetti is a tablet-based, interactive reading practice app. It uses Auris's multi-patented automatic speech recognition (ASR) engine to engage children with reading, using the power of the child's own voice to accelerate and embed their learning.
