What is Fonetti
Fonetti is an interactive reading practice platform which is both educational and fun developed for children to use in schools and at home.
It works due to our unique speech recognition engine technology behind the app which actively listens as children read aloud, turning the words green when they get them right.
If the reader isn’t sure how to say a word, they can double-tap it and Fonetti says the word to them. If they miss a word or get it wrong Fonetti simply grey's it out allowing the child to continue with the reading flow which is extremely important for young readers.
When they finish a book the child is presented with a ‘well done’ message and a number of stars depending on how accurate they were.
Fonetti in Schools
The Fonetti School Portal is a web based management tool used by teachers in schools.
Teachers are able to gain specific reading insights through some comprehensive data reporting and manage their pupils' reading activity.
School accounts can be accessed on tablets in the classroom and seamlessly linked to home devices.
Teachers benefit from the insights they gain from the data provided in the portal dashboards. They are able to see at a glance, who has been reading, what level of accuracy they attained and who needs some help.
Fonetti is designed as an essential classroom tool to work alongside existing tried and tested activities and resources.
Our goal is to enhance the learning experience for students, and providing accurate, impartial reading data to teachers.
